The Miracle Effect

The Miracle Effect
Excerpt One:
I loved smoking cigarettes. I loved everything about it –the fire, the smoke, the rush, the air-art of jagged mountains that would fade in a breeze. At first, I used it as a prop on the stage of college life –journalism to be exact. A cigarette in hand, I instantly became an imaginary reporter in a dark and smoky room with a single light bulb suspended over my typewriter as I reported breaking news produced on the incoming newswires click click click click. My ashtray overflowed, each cig-stub representing another seven minutes spent constructing the perfect story.

Excerpt Two:
Vickie happens to be an ordained minister. During her visit with us, she became our teacher (we didn’t
realize it at the time) and explained the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to us and how Jesus is with us today just
as much as He was when we walked the earth with his disciples.

How a Miracle Changed
the Lives of These
Extraordinary Women

A group of 19 women share how a miracle changed their lives – from cancer remissions, lung transplants, and illnesses, to parenthood, friendships, and marriage, to today’s most talked about topics such as PTSD, abortion, and same sex attraction. This collection of soul-enriching stories drives again and again to the heart of a loving God and the miracles He can (and does) still perform in lives today.

This collection is inspired by Micah 7:15, which tells us: “…I will show you miracles.” It will make you cry, laugh, relate, and recognize the Hand of God in everything from the mundane to the miraculous!

Reviews on Amazon:
(5 Stars) This is a must read!! Each story is so inspirational in its own right. I could not put the book down. These women are role models to everyone that is struggling with faith, health or love. This book showed me how God works in such wonderful ways and places people in our path to help carry out God’s plan, though we may not know it at the time, This would make a wonderful Christmas present to give to loved ones or anyone that needs a renewed sense of faith or purpose.

(5 Stars) Inspiring and impactful! One of those books that will hit home with anyone and remind you to thank the Lord for all of your blessings. Each story was beautifully written — I couldn’t put it down.
