All About Luanne
Tulips are safe houses for angels on earth; the stigma being the perfect shape to rest their wings. As a child, Luanne knew if she awakened early enough in the morning, she could see angels flying from their tiny beds as the petals fanned open in the morning sun. At the other end of the flower bed, far enough away, the snapdragons breathed fire.
Born into a family already fractured by the loss of two children, Luanne learned to navigate the universe using imagination and inherent grit. She came to know later in life that survival springs from God’s grace.
Luanne is a #1 Best Selling Author, an ordained minister, professional photographer and motivational speaker. She understands the importance of nurturing body, soul and spirit.
She studied English Literature at Westminster College in Pennsylvania and Journalism at Marquette University in Wisconsin. In years gone by, Luanne was a fashion model traveling the world, a chain smoker and a flaming bon vivant.
She and her husband David live in a city forest they planted together years ago. Together, they share a spirit of adventure. They lived in Alaska for a while and ran away to far away places. They had fun in British Columbia and loved St. Petersburg, Russia. Luanne misses Paris every day. They’re convinced, however, there’s no place like home. After all, Milwaukee has the best cream puffs in the world.
